Paste your .env file to detect duplicate keys, unquoted values with spaces, and invalid key names. Secrets auto-masked. Export as bash source, Docker --env-file, or JSON. Works with dotenv, direnv, and Docker Compose.

Yes. This tool runs entirely in your browser. The .env content is never sent to any server. Secret values are automatically masked in the table view, but the underlying value stays in your browser's memory until you clear the input.
Most .env parsers stop reading a value at the first space. So APP_NAME=My App gets parsed as key=APP_NAME, value=My (the word "App" is lost or causes an error). Quoting it as APP_NAME="My App" ensures the full value is preserved.
Ensure you're using --env-file (not -e) with a file in the KEY=VALUE format (no quotes, no export prefix). Docker's --env-file parser is more strict than dotenv — values should not be double-quoted in Docker env files. Use the "Docker --env-file" export above.
