Use the "I want to net" mode above. The formula is: charge = (desired_net + fixed_fee) ÷ (1 − percentage_rate). For example, to net $100 on a standard US card: (100 + 0.30) ÷ (1 − 0.029) = $103.30.
Stripe returns the percentage portion of the fee on refunds but keeps the fixed $0.30. So refunding $100 charged with a $3.20 fee ($2.90 + $0.30) gets you back $2.90, not $3.20.
Stripe Connect is used for marketplace and platform businesses. Stripe charges 0.25% + $0.25 for each transfer to a connected account, on top of the normal card processing fee.
